Is the uneven fight against infections your everyday life? It's time to take care of it comprehensively, strengthening the body's immunityColostrum and zinc are your protective shield, helping you improve the functioning of the immune system so you can say goodbye to all too common diseases.

Colostrum is a nutritional, natural substance that is produced by female mammals in the mammary glands in late pregnancy and immediately after giving birth. This fluid is responsible for stimulating the immune system and is designed to protect the newborn from pathogenic microorganisms. Colostrum – has a number of positive properties for the human body [1].

Immunoglobulins found in milk and colostrum are an important component of immune activity. Bovine colostrum contains immunoglobulin G that protects the body from infection. This substance contributes to enhancing the immune response in humans [2] and can prevent the development of infections, as well as support their fight [1]. It has also been proven that it has a repairing effect on muscles and cartilagessupports wound healing and promotes the regeneration of structural body cells– e.g. intestines[1]. Research suggests that taking colostrum may also reduce the risk of traveller's diarrhoea[3].

The potential of colostrum is encouraging and the benefits of supplementation are also reflected in the quality of training. Bovine colostrum can affect body composition. It has been shown that taking colostrum contributes to an increase in lean body mass in physically active people [4]Colostrumalso increases peak anaerobic power during training[5] and improves regeneration – and this can translate into increased efficiency[6]

It has no less beneficial properties than zinc. It helps in proper functioning of the immune system, protects cells from oxidative stress, contributes to the maintenance of proper metabolism of macronutrients, and supports the maintenance of healthy bones, skin and nails. Zinc improves immune indicators and reduces those responsible for the development of inflammation in the body [7], and can also affect the maintenance of optimal immune function and thus support healthy ageing [8].

Zinc is an element necessary to carry out various cellular processes in the body. It can be found e.g. in seafood, meat, dairy and whole grain products, nuts and legumes [9].Zinc deficiency is associated with, for example, impaired immune function, alopecia, glossitis, nail deformities, diarrhoea or stunted growth [10].Due to the fact that the human body does not have the ability to store zinc reserves, taking care of a balanced diet is crucial to maintaining its optimal concentration in the body. Food supplements may also be helpful. Bovine colostrum in combination with zinc shows promising properties that improve the functioning of the immune system.

Our supplement contains bovine colostrum standardised to type G immunoglobulins min. 18% dry weight. In addition, the product contains a highly absorbable organic form of zinc - gluconate. The recommended daily dose is 2 capsules, which we suggest taking in the morning before a meal. They contain 800 mg colostrum (min. 144 mg) i 15 mgzinc (150% RWS). Colostrum Immuno 800 mg it has no unnecessary additives in the composition, thanks to which it is safe to use.
